Our newly built Pre-school building provides childcare for children aged 3 to 4 years.
Open during school term-time the Pre-school has a large open plan classroom which is well equipped and surrounded by a large outdoor forest area and playground providing an exciting place for your child to learn and play.
Our inspiring setting ensures children feel safe, supported and confident to explore the variety of activities and learning experiences available to them.
Pre-school is an important stage in a child's development, we aim to combine child-led and teacher-led activities which engage and encourage children to challenge themselves, be creative and develop skills for the next chapter of learning.
At Cutnall Green Pre-School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the DfE’s Development Matters guidance. The focus is on children learning through play and each day your child will enjoy a wide variety of activities and experiences such as cooking, outdoor play, art, music and movement, singing, story-telling and forest school and welcome visitors such as the police, the fire service and ‘The Animal Man’.
As soon as your child starts pre-school, they will be assigned a key worker who will be responsible for inspiring and supporting their development. Your key worker will keep you informed on your child's progress and along with our caring early years team, will work together to ensure your child has a happy and fulfilling time at our Pre-school.
We welcome and encourage visits to our wonderful Pre-school. To arrange an appoint please contact the school office:
